His journey commenced at a tender age when he assumed control of his father's pharmacy business in the Sultanpet area of Bangalore in 1960, demonstrating remarkable responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gundu Rao has been deeply involved in various aspects of the pharmacy field. He served as the General Secretary of the Karnataka Chemist and Druggist Association for an impressive 18 years, showcasing his commitment to the welfare of pharmacists and the advancement of the profession at the state level.
Furthermore, his contributions extended nationally as he held the position of Treasurer of the All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists, indicating his dedication to the profession on a broader scale.
